Accessibility Statement

Private Car Finder is committed to making our website and products usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Car dealers should be able to manage leads and source inventory regardless of how they navigate the web.

Our conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Private Car Finder is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This means some parts of the experience do not yet fully meet the standard. We are working to close those gaps and do not claim full conformance without an independent audit.

Measures we take

Accessibility is part of our ongoing product work. Our measures include:

  • Using semantic HTML and clearly named interactive controls.
  • Supporting keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
  • Testing public pages with automated accessibility tools against WCAG Level A and AA rules.
  • Reviewing text and interface colors for sufficient contrast.
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Respecting reduced-motion preferences and supporting layouts at high zoom and on small screens.
  • Including accessibility considerations in design and code review for new features.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We are aware of the following areas and continue to evaluate them:

  • Authenticated product workflows: some dashboard interactions and data visualizations have not yet completed a full manual review with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Third-party services: embedded scheduling, authentication, payment, analytics, and messaging interfaces may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We raise issues with vendors when we find them.
  • Customer-provided content: vehicle photos, listing details, and lead data supplied by customers or external sources may not include accessible text alternatives.
  • Complex visual information: some charts, campaign analytics, and inventory views may not yet provide an equivalent nonvisual summary for every data point.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and will work with you to provide the information or complete the task by an accessible alternative where reasonably possible.

Technical specifications

Private Car Finder relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript to work with web browsers and assistive technologies. We design for current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Support may be limited on older browser or assistive-technology versions.

Assessment approach

We assess accessibility through internal code review, keyboard checks, and automated testing. Automated tools identify only a portion of accessibility barriers, so we treat them as one part of the review process. We have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit.
